Newbie cpu upgrade question

Hello All

My first post.

I have just done a system upgrade and really think my cpu is the bottle neck, i knew when buying it that it was a budget option but i though in a couple of weeks i could make an upgrade.

i have a g3258 @4ghz

motherboard is GB z97-d3h

graphics GB gtx-770oc 2gb

Without spending top money, say upto £180 for a cpu, what would be my best option for gaming and one that fits socket 1150?

Thanks for reply's all, games csgo, project cars at the moment, no slowing yet, had project cars on ultra and went down to 35 fps or so but on high was around 85fps.

csgo is about 160-200 fps on high at highest resolution, fsaa.

3dmark11 score is 7990, graphics score is 11800 but physics and combined are about 3800 roughly.

Thanks again peeps, i think its just that id like to know ive got a quality processor, maybe i should just enjoy it for now and wait till the games start to judder

Get an i5 4690k and you will be fine for 5 years

ummm, i am tempted, just put another 8gb ram in today so 16gb now, just want a good gaming pc that will last a couple of years before i have to update it.
will report back soon, going to menorca for 2 weeks on the 16th so might just wait till i come back.
