Hi,

i’m wanting to do my first custom loop and am after a little bit of advice.

Rough PC Spec
Mobo - Asus Tuf X570
CPU - AMD 3800x
GPU - Zotac Trinity 3090
PSU - RM850i
Case - Lian Li O11d

I’ve decided I would like to solely use EK stuff for the blocks, rad and distroblock. Fans I have covered so that’s not an issue.

I would ideally like to use the EK front mount distro plate

Here - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-w...ront-pc-o11d-with-spc-pwm-pump-wc-9w0-ek.html

According to EK’s site a single 360mm x 40mm rad will offer enough cooling for my system, not looking for over clocking just cool quiet gaming.

Has anyone got a similar set up and can share some temps and confirm this will be ok?

I will be running the rad as a top exhaust with 3 x Silent Wing 3 fans pushing air up and out with 6 x other fans on the bottom and side for intake

Thanks

More is definitely better. Should be able to get a 360 in the bottom. A single 360 would probably be ok with a 3090 + 3800x but if noise and temps matter then another radiator would be better especially if you have the space for it.

More than likely will be better laid out/neater with 2 rads as well.

That’s what I would ideally like but the distro plate only supports 1 rad as it’s an SPC pump :(

consider using the 240 FLT pump/res combo on the side, this way you can easily mount 2 x 360mm rads

Thanks for the advise but I’ve just seen someone on Reddit who fitted the EK front distro plate but the D5 version with 2 rads, just have to do a little case mod to make I fit but it looks like the best option for looks and performance.
