Help.
I'm so confused about PSU's. Last one I bought only had a 4 pin CPU power connector. I don't want to make the same mistake this time.
I'm not too fussed about SLI PCI-E power. But I know I do need something with enough AMPs on the 12v rail (apparently) to power my 8800GTS. Hoping to move to a 4870 so looking for something future proof as well.
What should I be looking for with respect to getting an 8 pin CPU connector (What are they called?), and what brands should I steer to and which brands should I stay clear of.
I spent £50 last time and it seems like a waste of money now. I don't want to get burned again. Ta.
