Hi all,
I've recently got an ASRock 939Dual Sata2 mobo (with up-to-date BIOS) and A64 X2 4200. I'm normally quite good with computers, but this has got me stumped!:
I've managed to overclock it without it crashing, but the memory is stuck on a miserly 148.8. I've put the CPU back to it's standard setting, but the speed of the memory goes down to about 128. It tells me in the BIOS that the memory is running at 200 (400)MHz in dual channel mode, but CPU-Z and Sandra are telling me otherwise. Both sticks are Samsung DDR3200 (512).
It's really starting to do my head in! I've tried playing around with the HT link (knowing full well it shouldn't change the memory speed), and i've played about with all sorts of settings in the BIOS to no avail.
Any ideas?
