Newbie Memory Question

Just going through my motherboard advanced settings and it states my memory is running at 1600MHz, but i spec'ed 2400MHz, should it show the 2400 speed, has the wrong memory been put in?

so that does not look like the memory i ordered? Which should be

So further update, did the bios upgrade and it showed 2400, i went back to the bios settings to put my overclock back, motherboard has a 20,40,60,80,100% overclock setting, when i did that to put my overclock to 40%, it brings the memory speed down!!
 
ah really, i thought it was too good to be true, i have a Gigabyte Z170-Gaming K3 motherboard running a i7 - 6700k, were can I find the details of what to change for my setup? thx
