I have a Netgear router connecting two PC's and a ethernet over mains adaptor to the phone line and internet. I also connect a printer to one of the sockets. It is now using all its sockets and I want to add another PC and two more printers. i have acquired an old DLink DES1008 10/100 fast ethernet switch with 8 ports on it. can I connect the "input" port of the DES1008 to one of the "output" ports of the Netgear router, thus adding seven more ports? Is it as simple as that? Cheers.
