Newbie (New Case)
Hiya Everyone
Well im putting an old machine into a new case, the machine is used for Work / Internet / Email and thought a new case would funk things up a bit. Anywho, I ordered the Super LANBOY and have had it sitting in my room for 2 days now, doing nothing!
Being the noob I am (Never built my own machine) my friend was going to come over and help me transfer parts and hes actually gone away, without knowing for sometime and I thought I'd give it ago myself but OH NO!
So many Wires for USB's, Power etc I'm totally stuck. I'm okay with everything else but all these plugs what came with the LANBOY has confused me, currently my motherboard has an "POWER LED" and "ATX SV" and thats it! I have no idea where all these other little plugs go, and I cant find my motherboard manual, its a KT400-8235 (Model) from Medion or MSI. Spent all yesterday trying to find it online/offline and no luck.
The computer was oringally bought as a retail media center and has a front panel that consists of sound/graphic card output (S-Video etc), multi card readers, 3USB's and a firewire and when opened up is just two chips with various ribbon cables/ thick black wires coming off into the motherboard, makes it even harder!
I'm so stuck, can anyone help?
