Hi all,
Had this machine (in sig) for ages and want to stretch it's lifespan out a bit more.
So I'm looking at OCing it slightly. Nothing major (still on air) but something like 3.2-3.5GHz with hyper-threading would be ideal
Been reading a few guides and just wanted to run things past you seasoned experts to make sure I don't cook anything by mistake!
The plan is, basically not to up the voltage much (if at all) and keep things roughly at the current stock temps.
So...
Are there any ratios of these settings that need to be adhered-to?
I ran a render yesterday to stress the system, according to EasyTune6 the cpu was @ 1.120V, I'm guessing that'd be a good voltage to try the CPU Vcore initially?
Sorry for the newbie questions, guys
Thanks for the help!

The CPU multiplyer is fixed @ 20, so I have to raise the BCLK to speed the CPU up - but that BCLK is linked to the Uncore, QPI & DDR3 Memory settings. Therefore I need to set those lower (and as close to default) as possible to ensure things run smoothly.
