Ok, heres my rig

Asus A8N SLI premium, A64 3700 SD, Leadtek 6800GT
2X1Gb Corsair XMS3200C2,WD Raptor 74Gb, Audig 2

my problem is that even if I up the FSB by 10mhz it wont get past post. MB temp is 31, cpu is at 34. Ive lost my manual for the motherboard and for the life of me cant think what is stopping me raising the fsb by so little.

Ideas?

Ok, thanks guys. Ive tried different settings, but can someone explain this to me.

I take it using this memory I need to keep my mem about the 1000 mark, so using a HTT at 4 times a FSB at 250, is the same as 5 x 200, correct?

Therefore, is it better to change the HTT or change the clock multiplier, from say 11 to 10.5 and keep the HTT at 5, does that make sense?

On another note, memory timings, I take it lower is better, what are the optimum settings for timings for my mem?

In fact what is the best settings for my rig as a whole, as this trial and error, is getting to me as I dont know what Im doing. Has anyone got a similas rig?

BTW Im using a Freezer 64 pro and my ambient, CPU temps are decent.

Thanks Dreadi, but what does that mean?

If I make it 3 will I take a huge performance hit on my memory. Lets say I take the FSB to 250, if I set this to 3 wont my memory now run at 750x2=1500 DDR which will have a major impact on the performance of my system and negate the overclock of the FSB, do I have that right?

Ok, so what is HTT?

If I need to keep mem at around the 1000 mark, am I to understand that the only way to "divide" the mem timings is to reduce the mem to 333, as this is the only way to stop the mem timings going beyond the magic 1000 if I increase the FSB, is that correct?
