I have bought a Hiper 120mm Case Fan to fit into my Coolermaster Elite 330. Its going in the front of the case so I assume it will be drawing air in now at the risk of sounding a dumbo which way do I fit it.

There is a little PCB with HIPER on the face does this face in our out. I hope someone else can help a complete dumbo

cheers guys

Most fans have slightly curved blades and will rotate in the direction of the curve. You can work out which way the air will move if you imagine which way something stationary will be pushed by the blades when they turn in that direction. For example the fan here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-000-YL&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat= will rotate clockwise.

Failing that, plug it in, but don't fix it to anything and see which way the air blows. Then screw it in once you've worked it out.
