Newbie Question

Hi Guy's,

I've only just recently discovered Overclockers UK and having not heard of them was a little apprehensive about making a purchase but I went ahead and purchased a new Dell Monitor which was delivered next day so I am a happy bunny so to speak

.

I do have one question regarding my new Dell Monitor and that is how do I transfer the Warranty to my name and does this need to be done only if I need to use the warranty or now.

Transfer the warranty to your name? Care to elaborate on that one?

I was under the impression when you bought a dell Monitor from a source different from Dell you then had to transfer or maybe I should have said register the said product with Dell.

Hm... well I've never owned a dell so I don't know how they handle their warranties but I'm pretty sure you just give them proof of purchase when you call up for a replacement. (That's how BenQ do it)
