newbie, setup help.

My processor and mobo came today but now i also need a PSU to go with the Asus P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) was wondering which one to go with on a low budget of around 30/40 quid. thanks.

Thanks a lot, i was hopeing my old psu would fit but its only a 4 pin lol, and the new mobo is either 8/24 once i grab this psu i should be up and running

its not either or, you have to connect bother 24pin and 8pin connectors on the motherboard.

ah thanks i will grab this Lepa-W Series. And probs grab th memory posted by reaper also unless i find something else in the mobo qvl list cheap

You've got yourself a nice neat little deal here. I've looked into the pentium g series a few weeks ago for a build for a friend and there really not that bad. Little thing you may not know, the processor has a built in GPU, so if you weren't planning on gaming, or just wanted something to tide you over for a short while, the onboard GPU would suffice for a while

probs use my old Nividia GT 7300 but if that goes onboard would be a nice backup. finally orderd everything now just hope the mobo fits in the case lol, i have a XBlade Midi Tower Case. what i have now is

Sounds good. I'm quite tempted to do a similar build, pretty much same spec but I think i'll wait it out a little till Ivy bridge is out

Ye everything seems great, might be worthwhile upgrading to a bigger better case in the future, give you more room to play with, and much better cooling options. New deals of the week start tonight, so there might be a bargain to pick up then
