Newbie to overclocking.

Hi ive just received and built my pc and now want to overclock it for max performace. How do i do it ! thanks.

This is what i got inside.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Yeah, check the stickies. You have some nice gear there, so should get a decent clock. If you have any problems just post back, i'm sure someone can help if you need it.

Is my graphics card ok to overclock also its a leadtech 8800 gts 640mb

It should be, but get your cpu overclock stable first. I overclock my 8800 using ATI tool, but there are a few programs you can use for this.

Your graphics card is easier to break by overclocking than your chip so be careful and remember to use small increments.
