I know my way around an Intel platform like the back of my hand but AMD BIOS......

Having swapped to team red for the first time in many years I've got a steep learning curve.

Can anyone tell me if the CPU/BIOS has a feature like intel speedstep where the CPU clocks down on very low loads. If so what are the BIOS settings to enable. Currently my CPU sits at a fixed 4.3Ghz. I have set the core multiplier to 43 in BIOS

Update..

just found Ryzen Master which shows that the CPU is in fact clocking down. Nice to know that. Found out that HWiNFO reports this as Core X Effective Clock.

Also found out the XMP RAM timings are called DOCP timings - Managed to overclock the ram slightly from 3200 to 3333. Seems stable so far but need to do more testing.

Managed to break 15K on CINEBENCH with a 4.425 overclock and the the Ram at 3333

I'm enjoying discovering this platform.
