Hello! I have an old Packard Bell I-Start 1359 (Linky) Which has just 512 RAM and a VIA/3SG UniChrome Pro IGP display adapter.

Im having troubles displaying some of new the effects in the recent Guildwars expansion, and to be honest, i know my machine isnt very good for gaming. Id like to give it a bit of a boost if thats possible. I know i can put in an extra gig of ram, and i know how to do it as ive done it on my old PC. But i have not got a clue what graphics cards i can use.

Im not to keen on buying the very top of the range stuff because in all honesty, as all i ever play on it is Guildwars and Ultima (the latter of which ill be leaving soon).

So can you guys recomend a card and recomend a brand of memory for my ram prefferebly from your shop (your well recomended ^^ ).
 
Will you buy guildwars 2 when it is out or want to ? as a upgrade bundle might be worth it if you are,if you go for the x1950 agp it will be cheaper but might hold you back in future but if you don't mind then it should play GW2 i hope.

I know its a bit cheap of me but for now ill go with the cheap one (linky) , i only need my PC to run Guildwars untill GW2 comes out in a few years (2009 i think), at which time ill have a look at the top of the range stuff ^^

One other question please. Is there any particular brand of RAM thingys (technical of me i know, not sure what your meant to call them ^^ ) i should avoid?
