Having got a decent GFX card now and decent cooling I feel that my CPU could do with a bit of a boost with some OCing.

Its a A64 Newcastle 3500+ currently at stock (2.2 Ghz)

My ram is the 3200 Ballistix, which I have recently had replaced so they are working fine (and I would like them to stay that way :D)

Whats a modest overclock that is do-able on this system? I'm not afraid to push the CPU volts a bit since the Zally 9500 does a splendid job of keeping everything sooo cool. Its the ram......2.8v at stock seems high... !!!

Suggestions?

On my old 3500 Newcastle, it would do 2.5Ghz at stock volts, but then wouldn't scale any further at all, not even with 1.7v. The other people who I've talked to about this seem to have achieved similar results.

There are a few good chips out there, but 2.5Ghz may be round about what you're looking at.

The ram voltage is fine by the way. :)
