Hi,
Let me preface this with I am not 100% sure if this a windows issue or something else but eventviewer has so many errors I don't know where to start.
first the rig is pretty new but I've always had niggles going on with bits here and there.
13900K
Z790 extreme
32GB corsair ddr5 7200 C34
RTX3090 FE
Seagate Firecuda 530 2TB
Windows 10 64 bit pro I tried windows 11 but had issues running my audio interface (scarlett 2I2)
It's all running reasonably cool (obviously the 13900K and 3090 memory gets into the 90's anyway but they have lots of airflow and the 13900K has an H170 elite on it.)
right so the most common error is
The maximum file size for session "PerfDiag Logger" has been reached. As a result, events might be lost (not logged) to file "C:\Windows\system32\WDI\LogFiles\ShutdownPerfDiagLogger.etl". The maximum files size is currently set to 20971520 bytes.
for some reason this one being just a warning is what shows up every time I crash out of Dota2 (can be in the menu all day but in game it crashes to desktop repeatedly within a matter of seconds.)
along with this one:
Session "PerfDiag Logger" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188
right before this I got this one:
MDM Declared Configuration: Function (checkNewInstanceData) operation (Read isNewInstanceData) failed with (The parameter is incorrect.)
this means nothing to me?
On shutting down the computer I get repeated memory errors for NVidia web helper. I've done clean installs of everything to do with nvidia and geforce experience. but this just keeps showing up.
also I'm running the latest BIOS and intel ME updates as I've had some Intel ME faults popping up since a windows update about a week ago (the errors where there before but less frequent.
I've also run memtest86 repeatedly and got no faults at all.
Can anyone help? or even steer me in the right direction? all the windows error pages I've tried have all been completely useless.
I've also tried sfc /scannow and I'm getting no issues either.
