Hey Guys,
Haven't posted since June when I was looking to put my 1st PC together. I 've done that now for about £650 all-in and the spec is as follows:-

1. Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 AMD 760G (Socket AM3+) DDR3 MicroATX Motherboard
2. AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor
3. Asus GeForce GTX 550 Ti 975MHz 1GB PCI-Expree HDMI
4. OCZ ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
5. Corsair Memory 8GB (2*4GB) DDR3 1333MHz 240-Pin DIMM
6. Seagaet 500GB Barracuda SpinPoint SATA 3Gb/s 7200 RPM
7. DVDRW
8. TP LINK 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter
9. Akasa 80*25mm Black - Lo-Noise Fan
10. Windows 7 Premium Home Edition w/Sp1

Put together for home use and gaming.
All the latest drivers are installed and put in an Internet Security Firewall.

Thinking of changing the tower already to the "Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case with Fan Controller - Black [ZM-Z9-PLUS]" as I bought a budget case which I haven't listed.
Also thinking of getting an OCZ SSD 128Gb drive as well.

Ok - what tools can I download and use to make sure I have optimised everything - primarily towards gaming ?
And what tools can you guys recommend to check my graphics card and the speed and resolution my games are running at in realtime ??

The reason I ask is that I am having a lot of lag issues witH Dark Souls and can't seem to fix. Have followed Modders suggestions to no avail so wondering if I have done something wrong.

Apologies if I have put this into the wrong forum list but wanted to start with the hardware that I purchased and assembled...

Thank you for you help and all suggestions appreciated.
