Hi guys, I built a pc around 2 weeks ago and it has been working fine till last night. Computer suddenly switched off and now won't turn on. The mobo has light and when I press the power button the fans come on for like a 1/4 of a second then switch off. The keyboard also seems to get power, any idea what the problem might be? My specs are following

Ryzen 1800x
Trident z rgb 32gb 3466mhz
Asus crosshair 6
Evga 1080ti ftw3
Xonar essence stx2
960 evo m.2
Couple of samsung ssds
Two hdds
Seasonic prime 750watt

So far I've tried different plug sockets as well as different power cables but that didn't seem to work. Thanks.

Unplug everything
Take out ram
Take out graphic card
Unplug the CPU EPS cable the 8 pin one
Leave just a fan connected and power it up
The fan should spin and the motherboard should bip but remain on
If it doesn't power supply or motherboard faulty
The power supply fan will not turn on if the switch on the back is prest

What cooling are you using?
Is the computer overclocked?

I had only one issue with the CH6 and that was a bad CMOS battery. I replaced it and all has been good since.

I do not know what bios version you were using, but I worked my way through several since April and stayed with 9920 which has proven stable and good.

You may try the bios flashback port on the CH6 with an updated bios (PC off but plugged in, USB in port, push button) to see if it was a corrupted bios.

It actually turned out to be a faulty power supply, tested it with a different one and it started working.

I worked closely with a support department for some time, and they used to rant on an on that nearly 30% of all issues with printers boiled down to the fact that they work much better WITH electricity.
