Got this today from OCUK and had a quick play at lunch shame about the VID but the batch is meant to be good. Didnt have enough time to let it prime any further but so far im happy with the results Will have to see how much further I can push it with this vcore. My aim is trying to clock it as fast as possible without taking the temps much over 60C full load.

Ive not owned a Core 2 Duo before but it is strange that my Core1 is nearly always 10C high on very little load? They even out on full load.

4.5ghz at 1.368V in windows is really good :D nice going

also, do you have enough quicklaunch icons? :p

Lol I only use quicklaunch, my desktop is clear :)

Gunna keep the vcore at that and see how far I can get with it sitting on full load at around 60C.

good stuff, don't get too hung up on the VID. In my experience with wolfies low VID chips always clock well but high VID chips can clock well too, my 3rd best chip was a 1.25 VID e8500 that clocked very well.

**edit** just found a screeny of the aforementioned chip :)

Im kinda stuck at 4.5Ghz atm, was hoping for 475 x 10 so my ram sits nicely at 2000mhz :) Whats the limit on the CPU PPL Voltage on these chips? Im currently only at around 1.5v.

oof, ok, ive left it on prime at home running there abouts 1.6 PLL :/ Still trying to get a nice prime stable at 450 x 100 with my ram at 1800 8-8-8-27. I really dont rate my ram though or maybe im asking to much of it!
