NewPC, Upgrade or Wait

Hi all

Have probably about a 6/7 year old PC, it still works with most games I play, but I can just start to feel like it is on its way out.... Also it is the largest / loudest case / cooling ever and it is starting to do my head in a bit. Plus it is no longer running games high spec, and no where near 4k.

Specs are:-

Gigabyte Z370 Aurus Gaming 7
Intel i7 8700K
16GB GSkill RAM
Nvidia 980ti
Case Fractal Design Enthoo Pro
Cooling Corsair H200i
Old SSD (it needs replacing been running 35549 hours)

Use for gaming and editing really.

GPU upgrade for sure but could just start a fresh and sell the pc or do incremental upgrades.

Budget is key what's yours ?

If I was to start new, £2-£3k

I would probably reuse everything (but the GPU) for a server experiment as I have 4 HP Microservers running that are on its last legs as well.

You could build a new PC get everything except for GPU, use the 980 for a month or so as new gen cards out sometime.

Will that AIO be quiet? The H200i I have sounds like a jumbo jet
