Guys I do some work for want to set up an account that they can use to send newsletters to customers, the email address of this might be [email protected] for instance.

What I'd like to know is, is it possible for all ofice admins to be able to send FROM this address using their normal outlook client?

I'm thinking delegation, but perhaps there is a much easier way?

Thanks

you just need to assign the office admins 'send as' rights on the new mailbox. Then in Outlook they can send from that address by simply changing their From field.

I'd create a new user with the appropriate name/email etc, create a security group and put all the necessary users into that and grant that group permissions over the new mailbox. Then on the new user's security tab, add the security group and give it send as permissions. Then you just need to add it as a shared mailbox to the necessary user's outlook.

Nice and easy to maintain as to who has access to send as that address and also means that all replies end up in one place which makes it easier for them to respond to emails if they need to.

And for the customers who receive a newsletter, just create a DL, add all the addresses, then send to the DL from the new account?
