Nex Machina, New shooter from House Marque

its a bit weird if M&KB btw - the cursor is always on the screen even if the aim isnt shooting that way - really puts me off. I havent tried joypad but apparently its the same... its something the devs are looking into but i thought i'd mention it.

I guess theres a way to hide the cursor somehow?

Weird I'm grabbing it tonight so can't comment yet but tbh I wouldn't even attempt a game like this with kb/m but each to there own of course!

nuclear throne style, where you have a crosshair controlled by the mouse works really well! if this game had that it would work ok, but if they dont implement it then yeah its twin-stick style for me also

Nice will look out for it in tomorrow's sale!

Can confirm no mouse on screen with controller, easier to tell where your shooting as it's just related to the direction of the right stick! Game is frantic

I was in the Alpha testing for this game and have to say with the mix of music and gameplay it is a great fun game :) Reminds me a lot of Super SmashTV on the SNES.

Also got this on Steam last night and it gets proper hard!

I loved all there previous games, this one feels great. Saving the people is a nice addition while trying to stay alive :D

Totally agree with you there and lots of hidden items to collect, I am hoping they do add online co-op play as well, just not sure how easy that would be to implement if at all, as local co-op works very well.

I do have a habit of running for the humans to save then as soon as I spawn though lol and usually fail, and the 3rd world boss is a pain in the ass!!

I loved the massive gorilla one, but yea that 3rd one was tough as he's actually moving around the arena too
