Next BIG thing from Battlefront.com

Battlefront.com has a reputation of producing incredibly realistic warfare simulations. They completely changed the wargame with their Combat Mission series. They have now redesigned the engine from the ground up to produce their next installment. If you like tactical sims, as realistic as possible then this may be for you. What's exciting about it is the fact that further "modules" can be installed allowing completely different theatres to be played. Battlefront have started out with a hypothetical conflict in Syria and have promised to release new modules based on WWII early wars, (poland and france) and a Battle of the Bulge module in the near future. Anyway, it looks incredible and if its an upgrade to the CM series as promised it will be the new benchmark.

hehe yes I know what you mean - but they can be modified and there are a couple of decent artists working on "upgrades" for free. I've completely changed the way my CMBB and CMAK look and feel with an overhaul.

OMG! others here play combat mission !!! dunno if my heart can take the strain lol.
i personally cannot wait til the modding boys get stuck into shock force and convert it into ww2,there are rumours of a total conversion to a nice russian front version.
