DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-DR - reached 3251mhz

so weekends test is Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe nForce4 SLi X16

i now know all problems with DFI expert were down to any temps below -20c.....

well like today @ 3.4ghz with 1.68v temps at idle read -8c under load +25c ish
but @ 3.4ghz and 1.75+v volts +1c in idle but close to 65-80c under load...PWMIC gets over 105c within 15mins NF4 chipset 75+c
but if CPU set @ say 3.2ghz @ 1.65v......temp dont get above -16c - 18c idle +6c under load
FX60 is little crazy cpu

if it is going up to 70+C under load then it means the heat output of your cpu is too much for the vapo to absorb. This means it is overwhelmed and actually is heating the cpu because it cannot get the heat away quick enough. Thats dangerous territory dude. 3.4ghz is good at 1.68v

Thats slightly concerning but none the less interesting! What score in 3d06 do you get with that CPU? And what are the rest of you specs Jemz?

hmm not big game player but i do like quake4 & BF2
specs - DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR
Enermax Noisetaker 600W
GeIL 1gb (pc4800)
Raid 0 - 4xraptors sandra hdd score 157mbs
Asus ATI Radeon X1800 XT
i have only tested in 3dmark 01....thats good for testing single cards
on my other DFI expert and FX60@3440 scored 41.270
with this DFI DR FX60@3400 scored 40,840
hope that makes sense
