next g10

I would get it and some mini heatsinks for the VRMs and that stuff. Memory is fine with the airflow but the VRMs do get hot from my experience of touching things I shouldn't be touching.

Got one on my reference 780. Using a H55 cooler. I sourced heatsinks for both vrm and vram. I also thermal glued them in place. Had no problems so far and it overclocks great. Runs at max temps of 55c with fan running at half voltage. Probably would run a few degrees cooler if i ran fan at full speed. But i like quietness :)

240mm is a bit overkill for a GPU. More than you would need which is Good if you can fit it in your case and that it has long pipes.
Howver you can still pick up a refurb H55 and couple it with a G10 for a lot less than that package and still knock about 20c off your temp.

These for ram

do a search for Gelid ICY vision R9 290 series VRM cooling these might do or just google vrm cooling as the heatsinks are on a competitor website.

I wouldn't even bother for ram heat sinks. Nvidia are perfectly happy with RAM chips on the back of their titan cards being cooled by passive case airflow then the active airflow of the G10's fan will be plenty.

Id have to agree tbh. i just did it for my own peace of mind. Im silly like that. Il see if i can dig out the link though if you really want them.

EDIT:

Link is there if you wish to buy them. But as stated probably not really needed :)
sorry had to remove link!! Go have a search on a popular auction site ;)

I've just realized something. Is your PCB a reference 780?
If your using that EVGA 780 from your sig? I'm gonna guess its none reference! You may need to check compatibility here before you go buy these items!! Just a heads up! Im using a reference PCB.

EDIT: ignore me im having an off day quite clearly today!!

remove the link to the auction site or you will get a wrapped knuckle! Your OCUK link goes to an empty page.
