Ok so with Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 (Dx11 Patch) and Skyrim more or less setting benchmarks visually what is the next game that is billed to be THE next spectacle on PC?
Doom 4.
Metro 2034: The Last Light.
GTA 5.
Mass Effect 3 could be good....it will not be demanding but look good i reckon.
Far Cry 3.
Can't wait for Far Cry 3. Hopefully it captures the magic of the first one, as the second didn't deserve the name.
GTA5 may be a benchmark in the sense that if it is anything like GTA4 the graphics are nothing special at all, they just run badly due to a very crap port.
It will depend how the game stress the computer. If GTA5 is CPU limited (I doubt any game out there is tbh) then it may not be a good benchmark.
GTA5 certainly won't look special at all if it is a port from the Xbox 360 which this coming Christmas will be 7 years old.
Playing Crysis was what Farcry 2 should have been.
Then we got Crysis 2, which was also crap.
GTA4 was quite pretty at the time I seem to remember. But it was badly ported.
ARMA 3
No consoles involved.![]()

I think Arkham City maxed out in DX11 looks pretty special if you ask me.
Must be surely?!skyrim setting benchmarks visually? Is that a typo OP?
ThisARMA 3 on max with max visibility will probably destroy most computers.
