Next game for a graphical benchmark?

As for coming games, I think the upcoming Tomb Raider will be good for sure. Far Cry 3 looks interesting too. Bioshock also, all Bioshock games look good. I personally like Skyrim graphically.

Seems to be? I only just got the game so wasnt aware of problems but ive got dx 11 on with hbao and tesselation on high and all seems fine so far.

Very pretty game.
 
How long do you think a machine that can run BF3 quite well (60fps) @ ultra settings (1920*1080) would last before you needed to upgrade? I am thinking it will last until at least the next generation of consoles are out?

IIRC The Witcher 2 is DX9.

BF3 IMO is more visually stunning than The Witcher 2.
 
arma 3 but i just think that game is going to be unoptimized like all the arma games.

arma 2 is a cracker of a game when you get into a lag free server with no gay rules.
still will make any computer sweat at 1080p max settings, you definatley need more than 1gb of vram

this tbh cant see anything that will be great in next year only probably next bfbc3 or moh2 or whatever console lie they give us :D

crysis 2 looks better than bf3 but people like its bf3 yo ! crysis 1 is till better looking all round than bf3 but hey ho.

im hoping next consoles come with keyboard support as that will be my next purchase
 
CARS is probably going to be up there. despite it being pre alpha with many optimisations and graphical features missing it still looks stunning
 
I pray to the Gods that GTA5 will be better ported across to the PC and I hope that the time spent in-between the console launch and the PC launch they spend their time properly perfecting it so us GTA fan-boys won't be disappointed again.
 
Hopefully the next in the Total War series which is rumoured to be in production...

Then again Shogun 2 battles on Ultra in DX11 are pretty droolworthy imo :P

heard GTA5 is being simultaneously released on consoles and PC. also heard it has its own development team for the PC version.

That separate development team must be so we can get it 6 months later than consoles and still have ****-poor performance.
