Next game suggestions ? - F.P.S

Im wondering what to try next.

My fave types of games are FPS... Best are UT & Co, Quake, Doom etc, I have all these and finished them. FarCry was ok, HalfLife etc all done, FEAR, DeusEx 1+2... Just now I finished Freedom Fighters.

Funnily enough, I thought the game was actually great. Are there any mods for that? - Ill have to check that one out!

I like Call Of Duty I done 1,2 and UO so is there any more of those?

I hated BF2 although to be honest I dont realyl know why?

Anyway, what others are there that anyone recons I would like?
 
Project IGI, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Medal of Honour: Allied Assault can all be had for a fiver each. All pretty old but much fun to play and good to look at. :)
 
Yeah, got all 3 of those too!

Not completed Wolfenstein, IGI I didnt like due to its not actually First person, and I did hate that, but Freedom Fighters was not either, but Istill got into it... I wil did Project IGI out.

MOH:AA - Never could get into it? - WHY?

'Rainbow Six Vegas' Tactical shooter, but plays like most FPS's - as in fast pace a lots of action. Need's a good system to enjoy to it's fullest.

'Return To Castle Wolfenstein' quite a classic..still looks and plays great - bit silly though, WWII with zombies.

I love Wolfenstein... On the Jaguar though? - Not really much of a fan on the PC, but then thats the same with AvP!

Prey, yes, I got that too! - Nice game but I just could not really get into it properly???

I got to the part where the old cheif got hacked up in the spaceship, but not much past that!!!

Oh, ok, I ill have a look for that too then...

Got to admit, that I am really into UnReal Tournament, but HL2 was a refreshing change, and then Call of Duty was just for me superb.

Im on the hardset setting on Freedom Fighters right now, and its bloody too hard although I now know what to do so thats making things better, but this is ridiculous.

Anyway, I will chuck Prey back on and try it again, but dont know?

Glad you mentioned that. I brought SWAT4 about a day after it was released and never got around to installing it. Guess I'll have to rectify that situation. :)

I have already bought and paid for it about 2 years ago!!! - SERIOUSLY TOO!

I was waiting and waiting and waiting, but then, about 3 days after I had expected it, I checked the suppliers out and it turns out that they set the release date back again!!!!

OFFS!

But yes, thats in the pipeline.
 
Ah, another FEAR hater perhaps?

I have to say that I didnt hate it myself, but it was sure as hell boring after a few levels, and the ending... Well, its as if they suddenly realised that they had just overslept and it was due out in an hour kind of thing....

So, condemned eh?

Ok, I have just bought PainKiller, I just hope its good. It looks ok.
 
i didnt hate it but yes it did get boring. condemned is like fear but with less corridoor after corridoor and more battering crazed hobo's that jump out at you in complete darkness with just about anything you can find such as a lead pipe or a sledge hammer :cool: the element of research adds more depth to it over fear also.

Lol! Me too, ive got the Swat 4 but havent installed since i wiped my computer. Gonna get going with that again. Its a very good game, i like the thinking part of the game and how its not just all about hold down trigger! :p

Have you tired any mods for BF2? I have fallen in love with the Project Reality v0.4 mod, it fixed everything I hated about BF2.
