Next-Gen accessories - who is getting what?

With all thats happened, one thing seems pretty clear, our old PS3/X360 accessories arent likely to work with next-gen. So what are people after or what would you recommend?

Think Im just after a new headset, something that mixes voice chat and game sounds so I can play late at night. Happy to use the Sony freebie for the time being but I think a proper solution might be worth investing in. No idea who makes the best and what to look out for...

Also tempted to pick up a new 32" 1080p Smart TV to cover all my streaming media and TV needs - used to use the PS3 PlayTV which I found really useful, but might be ideal time to lay my beloved 2407 to rest. Really need to make a thread in the TV forums as Im kinda picky (want low input lag, Freeview HD, DLNA, USB recording, 4:4:4 chroma so forth

)

Still hoping we get wheel/fight stick support - but Im probably clutching at straws...

So what are you eyeing up to accompany your next-gen purchase?

For PS4, a blue controller and one of those turtle beach 1 ear headsets - as I have no use for 2 ear headsets lol!

Heh, I've done the same, buying some Duracell rechargeable batteries. I'll also look into a headset in the future, but that's not something I'm desperate for.

I just purchased a 42" Sony KDL-42W653A purely for my PS4, arrived on Tuesday. Loving it but a tad too big for my room, it looked tiny in the store... 32" would have been smarter, but it's an easy mistake to live with.

I'm contemplating getting a headset for the PS4, but not sure whether to get a headphone amp and some hifi headphones (no idea really where to start) or just get something like the Sony Pulse.

I suppose it's an accessory, but I'm also battling with the idea of a Vita for remote 'toilet' play. Going to hold out for some Xmas deals on that or January Sales.

You can never go to big on a TV

, even if the room it is being housed in is the size of a shoe box! After my 60 inch dies I'll be looking at 65+ inches of pixel heaven.

Any extras are in the mega bundle I pre- ordered like an extra Ps4 controller and Ps4 camera except for the dual charging station which is a must as my two cats kicked my previous Ps3 controllers off of my Av stand religiously the little buggers.

For myself I picked up another pack of Duracell rechargeable batteries and a extra xbox one controller.

Also want a headset but not sure about the turtle beach line up, might wait to see what Tritton will offer in the future.

Bought my 55" smart tv back in April in preperation for the next gen lol

Nothing really.

No need for extra controller for me, blu tack for kinect, already got batteries. May get a headset in the future, but probably not until titanfall

Well I got the bundle with extra controller for any games I might be able to play with the wife. And also the camera is included which I got basically because it was free at £430 for the lot as I'd have bought controller and killzone seperately anyway.

Deff want a headset. Used Turtle Beach X11 a lot on 360 and loved it so want another good one for PS4 - unless this one will work at some point.

That's it really. I am getting a new TV though. Deciding between 50" and 55" but will probably wait until I'm in new house to see what size would be best suited. It's a large living room but still worry that 55" may be too big. so that will likely come a few weeks later.

Huh hows it silly? Its just like when a new phone or something comes out theres things you need to buy, considering no existing headsets with work, no wheels will and no fight sticks theres a good chance some of us will need something thats not in the box or looking to pick something up in the near future, no harm collating that as no doubt people will want to see what others recommend etc...
