Inspired by another thread I thought we'd put our collective minds together and come up a 'best of' for each genre we can think of. I've only had a quick think off the top of my head (and for games I've actually played) but have a look and submit your own. Obviously just include games that are actually out!

2. Bioshock [360]
3. The Darkness [360/PS3]

3. Saints Row [360]

Kameo is platform, Puzzle Quest is better than Two Worlds, needs orange box and possibly halo 3 in FPS. Racer - Test Drive Unlimited.

Sports:

Skate
Fifa 08
Fight Night 3

The Darkness? Crikey. You must have been a bit stuck. Where is Half-Life 2 and Halo 3? Hehehe.

Lol, this was always going to be the toughest category. Personally I love the story for the darkness and I do rate it as one of the best I've played in recent times.

Halo 3 was good, I thought Orange Box felt a tad dated though I'll admit I did overlook GRAW and R6V...

I know, I wasn't sure where to stick Kameo. TDU was fantastic but is it better than Burnout: Paradise? (haven't played the latter and want some honest answer).

I think it is, some might disagree though. Personally I think its better than PGR4 as well. As for Orange box, dated? Half Life 2 is still better than nearly every console shooter, portal is fantastically original and Team Fortress 2 is just amazing
