Next Gen CS:S?

Do you think they will ever release a next gen DX10 CS:S?

Can't really see what else they can do other than make it ultra real in appearance? But that’s never really been what CS was about.

I believe episode 2 will support DX10 in some manner, which suggests the source engine will have support for DX10 relatively soon, so you never know.
I wouldn't hold my breath tho, even if I didn't need to breathe.

Episode 2 won't introduce DX10 but they are planning to do it sometime in the future, as far as I recall anyway.

The way Valve have been in the past, probably in the future, however that'll be more like when they update for Episode 3 or something, to get the Source engine updated for it.

The release of Episode 2 should bring with it Dual Core Support.

So it's a step in the right direction

Are they not saying that you have to buy the whole HL2 package again to get Ep 2 and Dual Core support?
