So when's the next generation of cards coming? Had my 5770 since before Chrimbo and playing first DX11 game (Call of Pripyat) I notice it's struggling a bit at 1920*1200, albeit with most graphics settings close to maxed out (viewing distance etc). I also had to downclock the card from its overclocked state so it must be working pretty hard. I prefer single cards so would prefer not to SLI the 5770 (as not all games get the best from it). Not a big gamer so wondering if should wait for the next generation of Ati cards or possible improvements to the latest Nvidia offerings (as the 470/480 are only first of a new architecture)
 
Have not heard a peep from ATI, I thought they would have had an update to the 5850/5870s by now. The new cards were due in September dont know if this is still the case or not. If you cant wait go for a 5870.
 
I'm looking forward to what ever the replacement for the 5850 is (I would assume it'll probably be called 6850).
