next gen going to use pci express 3.0?

just wondering if anybody knows if the next gen of graphics card will use pci express 3.0? starting to see some new boards supporting pci express 3.0 now.

All rumor nothing really concrete yet.

I would imagine that for example the ATi 7000 series GPUs may use it however i would have thought it'd be reserved for the higher end of that series meaning mid next year before we get anything solid to go on.

I will say however that 3.0 will be mainly un-needed unless they literally quadrouple the throughput of the current cards.

im going to be building a whole new pc and wasn't sure if it was worth waiting until some of the overclocked bundles on here come with one of these motherboards that support pci express 3.0
