As the title suggests.

When are the next gen nvidia graphics cards coming out and what kind of stats are they likely to be pushing?

And also..... how much! :eek:
 
October for nvidias 9xxx series. Know one knows about performance and probally same launching price as 8800gtx.
 
We won't see a true "next gen" card for a year atleast. There will be the respins of current gen cards...
 
i was debating whether to wait when i got my gtx a month ago (managed to get a bfg oc1 for £330, but to be honest i couldn't be assed to wait 6 months for a brand new card, that will be near £500 hwne it comes out and probably have a load of bugs to be fixed. Probably will wait till mid next year again to get a g92 (cheaper, with all the bugs ironed out).

Thats a very valid point you have there. My only curiosity now is how much will the price drop when g92 is released :confused:
 
I think the GTS version of the G92 will be around £300, I've got money saved for it allready unless I get a quad core early.
 
best thing is to wait and wait again then the products come out still the best thing is to wait it always be the waiting part rofls but you will have to buy someday waiting for ever it's not fun

If your monitor supports 1280x1024 max then go for an 8800GTS 320mb untill G92 :), if higher go for a HD2900XT.
 
exactly. once people get *** g92 gtx on the day of release, sure it will be the best for a bit longer but you will probably end up paying about £450+ for the privelage (like the 8800gtx).

I'll state my opinion again. Allways best to get cards a few months after release as they will drop in price and have a lot of bugs ironed out. Also i don't think waiting is ever a good idea unless you know for a fact the thing you want is confirmed to be a few weeks/a month away.
