That's only a keyboard and projector though. You'll still need a computer to do the processing.

Thats a load of ****. Laser keyboards have been round for donkies years and that might be a replacement for a monitor with a projector pen, if such a thing exist, but it still looks pants and will never sell.

Agree with the above posts, I'd rather have a 12" laptop what happens during direct sunlight :S you won’t be able to see the screen or keyboard

Decent idea, but you still need a flat white plane to project the image onto, which is fairly difficult to find out and about.

It would be better if the screen didn't need projecting on a wall, so you can drag and slide things in mid air.

A little optimistic. The video states that it uses bluetooth, that device is simply a bluetooth input/output device.

That would never happen. Light needs to be reflected off something to be seen.

What about those baby toys placed over cots which project stars and funny stuff? Those aren't reflected off walls, they're in mid air.

But they only display a keyboard and monitor, you still need a computer to run things. Or am I missing something.

Looked pretty cool to use with a PDA though.

I would like to see that. I think you have got confused with what they do. Light is only visible on a surface which reflects the light into your eye. Otherwise space would be all bright, but its not its dark cos there is no surfaces.

You aren't missing anything, i think the creator of the video is mistaken. The device is simply a projection keyboard combined with a mini projector (Texas Instruments make mini projectors).

There are devices that create a kind of water vapour and use that as the medium on which to project. It almost appears that the projection is in mid air.

Thats still reflected light, its just reflecting off water vapour.
