I believe the cards will be too hot, not that much faster than the 5870, will be too expensive to justify that small performance difference and will be like hens teeth.

It means deliberately posting offensive or otherwise making posts to get a rise or otherwise **** people off.

When you've got a Catalyst hotfix thread and nVidia fanboys come in to troll about how nVidia never needs hot fixes.

It's a good example because it's something that happens on a regular basis by the local nVidia trolls, but when there's an nVidia hot fix thread it's all "cheers, thanks, I'll throw them on now, been needing this fix".

Said by the very same people trolling the other thread.

i for one welcome our new trigger happy banhammer wielding overlords i don't understand why people insist on starting "fanboy wars" and the like. I like to check this forum for new info but more often than not i'll just find bickering and insults. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing and debating it out like adults but when it comes to name calling and trolling for reactions it becomes silly.

Ill get whatever is most economically viable and good for the price that will last me a decent amount of time and is easily upgradable
