Next round of Intel price cuts - What and when?

Tried googling this, but without success.

Any idea when the next round of price-cuts on desktop chips are coming?

They were only dropped on July 22nd I believe. So I wouldn't hold your breath. I've heard new chips are on their way in October such as a new Celeron Line with 512Kb Cache based on the Core architechture and a new "pentium" e2180 with a 10x multiplyer. So maybe then...

Next drops will be to make way for Penryn although only the Extreme versions of this are expected before the end of the year.
