well guys finally bit the bullet and binned the skt A 
got me a new rig coming together. spec as follows
opty 146 pulling 3ghz on air,
asrock dual sata mobo
ati X800 256meg
2 gig matched ocuk value ram(sometimes runs 4 depending on apps)
maxtor 160gig ide hd (main)
ibm 40 gig ide hd(os's)
what would you guys reccomend as a next step up??? bear in mind i may want to dip my toes into the fps shooter malarky at some point although my maind thing is playing fm2006
btw always run at sensible res 1280x768 kinda as a max
