after a bit of on the cheap upgrading yesterday my spec sits as below


C2d 2160 running stock(gonna clock it a bit today
stock intel cooler
Gagabyte matx mobo 945 gcmx s2
2 gig generic ddr2 667 ram
ati xtx1900 512
160 gig sata h/d
pioneer dbd burner
dell 2007FP times 2

now i'm a bit of a gamer and this spec suits me to a tee (game at 1600x1200
any suggestions on what i should get next ? currently sitting in a full size tower so maybe consider a better mobo but this current one seems to have plenty options in the bios etc but proof will be in the overclocking pudding

thoughts please guys i just cant see any weak point atm in my cheap n cheerful build

Maybe a better cpu cooler to help with overclocking and possibly a gts video card in future?

As said....A better cpu cooler may help in the overclocking, but what you could do is try overclocking with the stock cooler and see how the temps go, cause to be honest the stock coolers are pretty decent sometimes.

That X1900 will keep you happy for a fair while, hell mines still running along nicely with the latest games Also if you can hang in for a bit hopefully some prices will drop on the GTX cards or the ATI ones, then you can grab one of them on the cheap or something in the future.
