They both have their issues. More people use Windows so therefore more problems are highlighted.

How is it nice? OS choices should be made on the merits of each system, not the pitfalls of the competition.

Because a lot of people I've met who use Macs have a god complex and tell me that Macs never crash. Simple as that really.

I have never quite understood the need to reply to a criticism of an OS with 'but look at windows and how rubbish that is.' Anyone who does is a bit of a gimp. Thats like being arrested for driving too fast and explaining how the guy next to you in the docks committed murder.

OS X has bugs, windows has more, cest la vie.

I think its more like they both have the same amount of problems but Mac owners are too busy dry humping their hardware to moan about it

Also it's cool to moan about Windows failing.

Still, I'm running OSX 10.6 and W7 at the moment so better disable that guest account, make sure my TM backups are good, wait for the W7 patch and pray nothing goes wrong in the mean time.

OSX has far more design flaws. It's just the hardware which is universally accepted as nice.

ALL os have their issues.

It's just windows has far more users and as such more bugs are found, but also far more bugs are fixed. If you look at known bugs vs bugs fixed. Microsoft come out best.
