Hi,

This is my pc spec below. I use it mainly for work now but finding with lots of chrome tabs open and a coupe of programs it starting to slow down. What do you recommend?

You could try finding some cheap second hand DDR3 and bumping your RAM up to at least 16gb, make sure the applications you use are on an SSD too.

Alternatively, a platform update (cpu/mobo/ram and reuse the rest) could be done for that sort of use case for around £150-200 and would offer some hefty uplift.

Make sure you OS and any applications you use regularly are on the SSD, beyond that you could find 16GB RAM second hand, but it'll likely cost you £15 or more, where for £70-90 you could upgrade to a basic AM4 setup with 16GB second hand - You've got over 1k posts so only need 13 more (after this thread) in 90 days to get access to the members market, I'd go that way personally as it will serve you a lot longer.
My work laptop only has 8GB but is otherwise pretty decent, it's fine for browsers/office but I wouldn't throw much more than that at it!
