I got an OcUK voucher for christmas plus some money i have saved so my budget is between £300-350.

I only use this machine for games. I was thinking of selling off my GPU and buying the GTX970 but im unsure if this would be the next best step. There are soooo many 970's available im also not too sure which one to got for.

Or is there any other options i should look at ?

Can you help ?

Yeah i must admit i have studied that comparison a fair bit. Is that Galax one you quoted relatively quiet and overclockable ?

Yeah i do too. Ive had it at 4.2 for a while just to check it was all ok. I'll increase it again in the near future.

Sorry to add another question. Im on the verge of purchasing.

I have just seen that the Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming is on a this week only deal. Is there any reason to pick this one over the Galax ? Im assuming its only the extra year warranty and the brand ?
