Nextbase Duo USB

Hi, OK I can't for the life of me imagine why, but the nextbase duo in car camera uses a usb type I've never in my life seen before. I've brought the hardwire kit which uses the standard mini-b and it isn't compatible.

Its similar in size to a typical phone/kindle usb (sorry don't know the standard), but it isn't.

Anyone know?

The manual (if Google took me to the right one) does say "Mini USB", surprised if it's not Mini-b. Does it look like any of these:

It's definitely not Mini-B - the hardwire kit is but not the unit.

I suspect it might indeed be this new USB-C, hence why I've not seen one.

Stuff it, I'll get one of these to convert the bundled cables and call it a day:
