*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

App data is the only thing I need, I play a lot of games, and I don't wanna lose that, and just having things install again without need any setup is great for me. But it is mostly just the games, if Android had better backs ups I could live without root.

Use helium back up. Doesn't need root and backs up app data. I've got mine to do it on a weekly schedule - works well. :)

Been using the Spigen Slim Armor case which has been good, but just got some Shure earphones which have a chunky plug and won't push in enough with the case on. So can anyone please recommend a good case that would have good earphone socket clearance?

Yeah that's fair enough. Hopefully that will change and devs and Google will find a way to allow cloud backups of data. I remember years back losing all my angry birds scores.

Chop a bit of the casing off to make the hole a bit bigger or chop some of the plastic off the headphone jack.

I'm probably not as heavy a user as others though. I can get a battery to last over 24hrs, and have wifi access at work and at home. I don't really play many games on it either.

Yeah, I think if they added it to the gdrive storage like an Android section to keep your Data. This be a great solution so you can sync stuff across devices too e.g. Tablet and Phone have the same game.
