Not sure if this is a problem with my Nexus 5 or not. I have been suspicious of how long it is taking to charge up of late, as in it takes ages.

My phone was on charge this morning, plugged into the mains with the official charger and cable. We had a power cut early this afternoon. By the time the power had come back on the phone had lost 6% of charge, i.e. it was at 94%. The battery is now at 99%. The power came back on at 4:20pm. So it has taken 5 hours to go from 94% to 99%! What is going on?

Oh and still no 4.4.3 update for my phone.

Hi Gav. How do I do that? I'm not rooted yet. Thinking I should wait until I get the 4.4.3 update before I do root.

Would following this sort the dalvik cache in recovery?

Hi Jimlad. Should have made it clear that I meant the Recovery mode. Would that help me clear the dalvik cache?

You should not need to . just stop the Google framework and reboot

Need a new back for mine :/ the glossy s u and x have come off the u did come off aswel but i found that on my bed must have came out when i fell sleep with it on the bed looks so tacky when they come off, I work in a really dusty enviroment so think that could have contributed to them coming off. Anyone else have this problem? Can you buy replacement backs or not?

Replacement backs are about £20 from eBay I found when I looked .

Managed to find them now, normally it came up with bumper cases, just got to pick what color now, either keep it black or go with white or red....

Yep i had the same issue, all the letters came off mine.

Does look tacky.

thinking about making my white one black. I reckon the white does look nice but tbh the feel is plastic where on the black you kind of have the grippy texture

So the white version is a different type of plastic on the back?? I thought the white would have the same feel as the black, if not ill stick to a black back

nope sadly not, the black is the best for texture and quality the white is a hard plastic.

My friend has the White N5 and it gets pretty dirty too :/ and sides feel a bit eww.

Bought myself a new back from eBay, £19 so not too bad.

Hopefully I don't damage anything swapping the backs over.

Black it is then can only find them for around 25quid might check the rainforest
