*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

BTW, are any camera apps that make use of the RAW features yet?

I did try one a while back called camera L iirc but you had to do a lot of tweaking before and after to get good results, which I cba with :p
Anything using Camera2 api will mean you have to tweak it to get the best results, that's the point of it ;)

Side-loaded it using modified flash-all.bat, cant say i've noticed any performance increase. Switching wifi networks from the quick settings will be handy for me at work.

Guess we'll see if the memory leak but is apparent in a few days lol

Really ? My phone is very snappy now and just feels new again. I have noticed a big improvement.

I used the Nexus toolkit in the end to do mine. My bootloader was unlocked anyway. Just used the Flash Stock button and the No wipe button.
I had a problem with my drivers and used the root toolkit to fix it.
I had to use USBDeview to uninstall all my drivers and start again
The toolkit has now been updated with 5.1.0 so it saves you downloading it too I just noticed.

So, this isn't released in terms of automatically downloading? As I just checked via my phone and its saying I'm up to date :p

google do staggered releases so your phone will say it's up to date until they randomly decide it's time to give it to you. don't keep refreshing as it wont make a difference. it'll most likely come within a week :)

Well, 5.1 hasn't fixed the memory leak. My system RAM usage is 1GB, processes are restarting and the launcher is redrawing.

****.

Cool so downloading the image from the posted links and then unpacking the files until you get a zip is what you used in Wugfresh NRT? Did it wipe the device or just update the OS?

it wiped the device, but I didn't have a grear deal of stuff to lose.
pics etc are on google drive.
I have a nexus 7 so you can use tap and restore to get your setting and app back
