Nexus 7 Charging

Hi all,

Think I may have a faulty Nexus 7 or charger...

It takes ages to charge the tablet... I'm not sure how long I am supposed to be expecting to wait for for a full charge.

The lead going in is secure but feels a bit wobbly, you can wiggle it about a bit.

When it's plugged in charging and you turn the tablet on even after 10 minutes it'll power up then say it's shutting down.

Does this sound like it could be faulty ? I'm using the Asus charger and the usb lead that came with it.

It's normal for it to wiggle a bit. You could try a different cable? It's only a basic USB cable, any USB phone carger (for pretty much all modern smartphones apart from the iPhone) will work too. Or plug it into your PC or something.

Takes just under 4 hours to fully charge mine from <1% to 100% while powered on but not used.
