Nexus 7 Replacement

So my dad broke his Nexus 7 I bought him many years ago while on holiday
So I need a replacement for him, he uses it to watch movies/football on the go.
Looking for a replacement, preferable Android as I got him used to it.
Looking around the net, there is allot of conflicting information on which are best.
Would like either 9inch or 10inch with a good screen.
Price isn't really a concern, but nothing silly.

A Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 should be decent. Screen on these are very good in my eyes and there is the added bonus of a SD car slot for extra space if your old man likes to put films on rather than streaming.

If he's alright going for the same size again the Nexus 7 can be had for £75 (16gb version) from a large stationary store. In comparison, the Samsung is £159 from the well known department store.

I'm really liking the Nexus 9, which replaced my 2012 Nexus 7.
Now that the price has dropped and 5.1.1 is out on it, its a great device.
