Nexus mods and age verification.

There is a tick box on nexus to not show adult mods (or at least there was).

I think it had to be actively ticked on if you wanted to see them.

I remember seeing stuff a few times in the past regardless while using Nexus, Steam was by far the worst though. I've not seen a flat out porn game since the ID (age verification) thing came into play, in the past even blocking certain tags didn't always help or worse actually made things more difficult to find. I'm a big fan of horror games for example, a lot of the time user tags get shared between genres.

I'm not exactly a prude but I've absolutely no time or interest in porn games, let alone modding goon-bait into titles that aren't. To each their own don't get me wrong, no judgement or anything (well, almost no, there's some very questionable stuff out there unfortunately) it's just not my cup of tea.

Unfortunately once you've seen one generic graphical set of comedically mammoth boobs you've seen them all, it becomes a bit of a blur!

Yup Steam has had some pretty ropey stuff including not only pics but vids also on the store for anyone and everyone to click on.

If its getting to much of a blur stop moving so fast :p

I've seen stuff on there that should have the people playing it put on some sort of list tbh.

The fact that the line "she's hundreds of years old and a vampire/witch/werewolf etc!" has become a borderline trope is bad enough in of itself, not just with games either but anime is another dodgy area in that regard.

I do need to book an opticians appointment mind you, thanks for the reminder!

Yeppppp, it put me off anime as a medium like 20 years ago, and when I've tried to play any game vaguely resembling it I've been put off sharpish.

I'm a fan of anime but it's definitely a bit of a minefield, there's stuff I've dropped very quickly in the past and I'm a lot more discerning now due to it.
 
I had to jump passed this hoop while downing certain blood mods for RDRD2 seems ridiculous. Our internet in the UK is getting more and more restricted. I ended up just setting up the VPN on my unifi gear so I'm permanently connected elsewhere now.
